All In is a professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event produced by All Elite Wrestling (AEW) since 2023. The original event was arranged independently in September 2018 and helped inspire the formation of AEW itself a few months later, in January 2019. Under AEW, All In has traditionally taken place at Wembley Stadium in London, England, over the United Kingdom’s August Bank Holiday weekend. It has grown into AEW’s biggest annual show and flagship event—often compared to WWE’s WrestleMania—and forms part of the promotion’s “Big Five” PPVs alongside All Out, Double or Nothing, Full Gear, and Revolution.
The 2018 inaugural show was organized and promoted by Cody Rhodes and The Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson) of the stable The Elite, in partnership with Ring of Honor (ROH), which retained the event rights. Held on September 1, 2018 (Labor Day weekend), at the Sears Centre Arena in Hoffman Estates, Illinois, the event carried the tagline “The Biggest Independent Wrestling Show Ever.” Tickets sold out in roughly 30 minutes, and it drew an official attendance of 11,263—making it the first non-WWE or World Championship Wrestling-promoted professional wrestling event in the United States to sell more than 10,000 tickets since 1993. The card featured talent from New Japan Pro-Wrestling, ROH, the NWA, Impact Wrestling, Lucha Underground, and the independent scene. Highlights included Cody Rhodes defeating Nick Aldis to capture the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship, Kenny Omega defeating Penta El Zero Miedo, Kazuchika Okada defeating Marty Scurll, and a main-event six-man tag in which The Golden Elite (the Young Bucks and Kota Ibushi) defeated Rey Mysterio, Rey Fénix, and Bandido. A Chicago Street Fight between “Hangman” Adam Page and Joey Janela and a surprise appearance by Chris Jericho were among other notable moments. The show’s commercial and critical success directly inspired the creation of AEW.
Rhodes, the Young Bucks, and fellow Elite member Kenny Omega later became executive vice presidents of AEW. The new company created All Out as a spiritual successor to All In. After AEW president Tony Khan acquired ROH in March 2022, he secured the rights to All In and revived it in 2023 as AEW’s annual summer PPV.
The 2023 edition at Wembley Stadium drew 72,265 fans—the largest crowd in AEW history and one of the biggest in professional wrestling overall. It was also AEW’s first PPV in the United Kingdom and the first held in an association football stadium.
All In remained at Wembley during the August Bank Holiday weekend thereafter, with the exception of the 2025 event. That show took place in July at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas—the first professional wrestling event at the venue and AEW’s first PPV in a baseball stadium. Attracting more than 27,000 fans, it became AEW’s largest North American event and the third-largest in company history, behind the 2023 and 2024 All In shows. The event is scheduled to return to its traditional Wembley Stadium date over the August Bank Holiday weekend in 2026.
