Stand & Deliver is an annual professional wrestling event produced by WWE, a Connecticut-based professional wrestling promotion, for its developmental brand NXT. Launched in 2021, it is considered NXT’s biggest event of the year. The show was originally held during WrestleMania week until 2026, when it was moved to its own separate slot outside of WrestleMania weekend.
The inaugural edition was a two-night event, with Night 1 airing as a television special on the USA Network and Night 2 available on pay-per-view. Both nights were also streamed live on WWE’s livestreaming platforms. Beginning in 2022, Stand & Deliver has been presented as a single-day livestreaming event.
Originally part of the NXT TakeOver series, the event continued as NXT’s flagship annual show after the brand reverted to its developmental status in September 2021 and the TakeOver series was discontinued. The first Stand & Deliver also featured wrestlers from NXT’s former sub-brand, NXT UK.
The inaugural event was held as NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver on April 7 and 8, 2021, during WrestleMania 37 week—the only TakeOver show ever staged across two nights. It was broadcast on traditional pay-per-view worldwide and on the WWE Network in international markets. In the United States, it became WWE’s first live in-ring event to air on Peacock after the American WWE Network merged into the service on April 4, 2021. Night 1 also aired live as a special on the USA Network. The event took place at the Capitol Wrestling Center inside the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.
In September 2021, NXT underwent a major rebranding, returning to its original role as WWE’s developmental brand. The Capitol Wrestling Center name was dropped, and the TakeOver series was discontinued. Stand & Deliver, however, was kept as the brand’s premier annual event.
On January 24, 2022, WWE confirmed that Stand & Deliver would continue as a standalone NXT event. The second edition was held on April 2, 2022—the same day as WrestleMania 38 Night 1—at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas. It was scheduled as a one-day show with a special 1:00 p.m. Eastern Time start time. This was the first NXT event held outside Florida and outside the brand’s home venues since NXT TakeOver: Portland in February 2020.
The third Stand & Deliver was held on April 1, 2023, during the day of WrestleMania 39 Night 1 at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, California. This scheduling established the tradition of holding the event on the afternoon of WrestleMania Night 1. The event continued in this timeslot in 2024 at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia and in 2025 at the T-Mobile Arena in Paradise, Nevada. In 2026, Stand & Deliver was moved to its own dedicated date, separate from WrestleMania weekend, taking place on April 4 in St. Louis, Missouri.
