What’s the pecking order at the bird feeder? Birds can become territorial when it comes to food sources like feeders. By slowing down the action, in this episode of Backyard Birds Revealed, you can see how birds assert dominance at the feeder, who’s more aggressive and who’s more docile during dinnertime. On assignment for the Cornell Lab of Ornithology, filmmakers Tim and Russell Laman use super slow motion cameras to reveal spectacular bird behavior—their graceful (and not so graceful) landings, squabbles, and impressive acrobatics ceding space at the feeder.
