2019 Big Cat Rescue took in 3 tigers who were rescued from a circus in Guatemala. The Circus had been banned in Guatemala, but instead of turning the cats into authorities, the circus owners went on the run. After many months of chasing them, 15 tigers and 6 lions were recovered in total due to efforts by Animal Defenders International.
