Keepers arrived on the morning of the 12th October to be greeted by this gorgeous Grevy’s zebra foal! Mother Imogen and the youngster (now named Tucana!) are doing very well and can be spotted at Wild Explorers. 🦓
Marwell has a team carrying out extensive conservation work with this endangered species in Northern Kenya. We also manage the International Studbook and the European Ex situ Programme (EEP) for Grevy’s zebra and encourage participants to support our conservation initiatives.
