Giraffes are as smart as they are tall! 🤓
Check out Keeper Ryan as he works with our giraffe boys to train them for future hoof procedures! He, and other members of our animal care staff, work with the giraffes regularly. This training not only keeps them mentally stimulated, but also helps them become accustomed to the behaviors they will be asked to do when it comes time to trim and maintain their hooves. This hoof maintenance will keep our giraffes’ legs and feet in tip-top shape! 👣
