Amur leopard cub Sasha is coming up on 7 months and it’s a critical time for mom Lisa to teach him the skills that all Amur leopards need. It’s not uncommon to see the duo stalk, chase, and wrestle one another as Sasha refines his pouncing techniques. He’s also learning hunting skills such as sneaking up on prey and how to sweep the back legs of an animal running away from him. Don’t worry if you see them playfully going for the neck in these mock hunts as that’s part of the learning process too.
