Panama or Bust!

Oakland Zoo

Members of Oakland Zoo’s Animal Care and Conservation departments are en route to Panama to help our conservation partner Kaminando study jaguars in the wild. The team will spend several days in the Panamanian jungle, collecting and analyzing footage from camera traps, to better understand jaguar behavior in the wild, and the impact that human development is having on these large felids.
