Oakland Zoo is Wild About Wolves

Oakland Zoo

Our two gray wolves Siskiyou and Sequoia have become first-time parents to a litter of 4 pups. This first ever Oakland Zoo wolf pack are ambassadors for wild wolves, who are returning to California for the first time in over 100 years. How can wolf conservationists live in harmony with cattle ranchers, whose livelihoods are being threatened? Range stewards are helping negotiate both sides of this issue so that all can live in harmony.
