Our red panda cubs had SNOW much fun today experiencing their first snowfall. Red pandas have a soft, dense woolly undercoat covered by a second layer of long coarse hair. Their long, bushy tails help them maintain balance and they wrap it around themselves like a blanket when they sleep. Dense fur completely covers their feet to protect them from the cold.
